Solange Ingabire participated in the Global Youth Economic Opportunity (GYEO) Summit, where leaders, advocates, and organizations gathered to discuss strategies for strengthening economic opportunities for young people worldwide.
At the summit, Solange contributed to conversations on education access, refugee inclusion, and youth leadership, highlighting the importance of creating pathways for displaced youth to participate in economic development.
As co-founder of Refugee Youth Changemakers, she has helped empower more than 1,000 refugee youth through initiatives focused on education access, advocacy, and leadership development.
Her advocacy also extends to her role on the Youth Advisory Committee for the DREEM Project, supported by the World University Service of Canada.
At the time of the summit, Solange was pursuing her studies in Agricultural Sciences at EARTH University in Costa Rica as a Mastercard Foundation Scholar, while also contributing to research at Cornell University’s ECOLAB.
Her work continues to highlight the importance of education, opportunity, and community leadership in building sustainable futures for displaced youth.
